He was extremely informative and provided me with rehabilitation exercises to focus on and switch up my usual training to make room for what was necessary. I progressed back to the climbing wall while continuing to reduce the pain. I was then able to spend a surfing holiday pain free! Pleased with progress, and highly recommended.Posted on Freya RennisonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Saw Anthony for a knee injury, would definitely recommend :)Posted on James RichTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've used Rise for a few different injuries and have always received an excellent service, would highly recommend!Posted on ConnorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having a finger go bang the week before Christmas isn't ideal timing, especially three days before you travel home to see your family. Rise came well recommended by climbing friends and my regular physio, so I knew I'd be in good hands. They went above and beyond to get me booked in quickly for an ultrasound to confirm that status of my injury and were reassuring whilst laying out clear steps to recovery. Thanks George and Simon!Posted on Lloyd WoolacottTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great advice, pain free shoulder in a few weeks of the prescribed exercise routine.Posted on TheRedwareTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The the care that I have received from Rise has been excellent. Tyler has been positive, professional and importantly, clinical in diagnosing what has been wrong and assessing progress throughout the sessions I have had with him. The guidance as to what to do to treat the A2 injury and the capsulitus has been clear the whole way through. The follow up emails after every session have been really helpful as a reference too. As well as working on the rehab, I have appreciated things like the ideas on warm ups before climbing, the help to improve my crimp positions and his ability to listen to how I am feeling about the length of rehab and adjust things to keep me going. The positive approach throughout has been great and motivational on what has been a long slog to get back on the wall. My finger is so much stronger than it was. I have been very pleased with the care and support I have received and while I hope I don’t need to, if I am ever injured again I will be back. I’ll have already recommended Rise physiotherapy and Tyler to friends of mine that climb. A huge thank you!Posted on cathie smithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I first went to see Simon as I had been experiencing some pain in my shoulder that had been present for a few months but had become much more intense a couple of months prior. The pain would keep me awake at night I couldnt lie on my right shoulder and i couldnt support my body weight on my arm to turn over in bed. I'd had an ultrasound scan that had suggested two small full thickness rotator cuff tears. Simon was very thorough in his examination and we started with some gentle rehab exercises. He suggested taking ibuprofen as a course, three times a day for 2-3 weeks as he felt the pain could be coming from an inflamed bursa. This was a game changer as it reduced the pain a lot and I could get some decent sleep again. He suggested that I see my GP and ask for a referral to the MSK interface team as an MRI scan would be good to determine whether I did have tears. If tears were present they would increase in size over time and it would be good to get them repaired whilst I was young enough for a good outcome - I'm 56. I am also a personal trainer and work in a gym so having two functioning shoulders is paramount for my job. I continued to see Simon for a couple more sessions and we progressed the rehab protocol. I have just had an NHS appointment with a consultant and next steps are MRI scan with some follow up treatment, depending on the outcome of the scan. I can't thank Simon enough for his advice and support, without which I would probably have given up and lived with a painful, sub par shoulder. Simon is very experienced and knowledgeable and I would 100% recommend.Posted on Daisy LarkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ive had 6 months of physio with Anthony after a running related knee injury, and have just run my first 5km pain free since the ultra that broke me! My main goal was to make (and survive) a big hiking trip I had booked for August before even considering getting back to running. I came back in one piece, and genuinely don’t think I’d have made it without him! Whilst i have a relatively sound knowledge of ‘training’ and understanding of my body, committing to regular physio for this period meant training tailored specifically to the issues I was facing, and being able to tweak things appropriately in ways I wouldn’t have thought of myself. Alongside his professional knowledge, Anthony was also just a friendly/supportive person in general which makes a massive difference when you’re having a bit of an existential knee related crisis!Posted on Edward RitchieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tyler helped me to quickly resolve wrist pain that had been impacting my climbing on and off for several months. I now feel confident to increase training load, which is a dream. I will certainly visit for any other issues in the future. Thank you.Posted on Elizabeth GriffithsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The reason I booked with Rise Physiotherapy was because I had met Simon through Backwell surgery and he was quick to diagnose Spinal stenosis. After booking on line I met George at Rise who was extremely thorough. I have had physio with the NHS and Sirona and neither compares to the attention to detail that I received form my meeting with George. I cannot recommend these people enough.
