Simon Carley-Smith

Simon is a highly experienced specialist physiotherapist and the Founder and Director of Rise Physiotherapy. He practises at the highest clinical levels across elite sport and NHS advanced practice, leading the clinical team and setting the standard for care across the clinic. He is widely recognised for his expertise in climbing-related injuries and regularly treats climbers competing at international and world-class level.

Alongside private practice, Simon has worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner and First Contact Practitioner in the NHS, providing advanced diagnostics including Point Of Care Ultrasound Scans, injection therapy, and guidance on surgical decision-making. His approach combines precise assessment with exercise-based rehabilitation, manual therapy and performance-led care.
