Tommy Matthews
Musculoskeletal & Climbing Specialist Physiotherapist
Tommy is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who treats a wide range of conditions across the whole body. His approach combines detailed objective assessment, structured rehabilitation and hands-on treatment, with a focus on restoring strength, control and confidence. He takes a holistic approach, considering both physical and behavioural factors to support long-term outcomes.
With Sports Massage, Acupuncture and Pilates qualifications to complement his Physiotherapy expertise, Tommy utilises all of the resources available to address the needs of each individual client to ensure they maximise their recovery.
A previous member of the GB Junior Bouldering Team, competing in two World Cups, and a current member of the GB Obstacle Course Team, Tommy has a unique understanding of the physiological and psychological demands of elite sports, and offers his insights into injury management and recovery strategies required in climbing and high-level sports.
